WHAT WE DO

Our strategy is to help among the neediest of the needy. We are currently in a community of over 40,000 people, working with local partners in a way that unleashes potential.

At Love a Village, our work is grounded in values that shape every relationship, decision, and initiative we take part in. We believe in empowerment — equipping individuals and communities with the tools and confidence to lead their own development. We prioritise sustainability, ensuring that every solution we support is rooted in long-term impact and local ownership. Through collaboration, we walk shoulder to shoulder with village leaders and our Malawian partners, sharing power and building trust. We take a holistic approach, recognizing that poverty is complex and must be addressed from many angles — water, food, education, health, income, and the environment. We hold deep respect for the people we serve, approaching every interaction with dignity and humility. And in all we do, we commit to integrity, operating with transparency, accountability, and the highest standards of ethical stewardship.

Making It L.A.S.T.

Our L.A.S.T. framework reflects how we plan, act, and stay accountable to our mission, our partners, and the communities we serve:

  • Lifegiving – Rooted in dignity and hope, strengthening individuals and communities from the inside out.

  • Accountable – Built on transparency, strong partnerships, and responsible stewardship of resources.

  • Sustainable – Designed for long-term impact, led locally, and grounded in environmental and economic resilience.

  • Transparent – Open in our communications, finances, and decision-making, fostering trust and credibility.
